ABOUT WW

We are a group of dedicated military professions each with unique combat experiences. Together we believe we are able to offer valuable assistance to those vets who may not know where to start seeking help or who would simply benefit from additional support. We believe in the concept of fellowship and mentorship and understand how important this is when trying to overcome fear and isolation. Over the last two years we have developed a small team of officers that have made a collective commitment to combat PTSD with those soldiers and families who need it.
Wiregrass Warriors was founded due to lived personal experiences. The adrenaline experienced in combat is not easily mimicked. Further more, combat requires focus and an ability to perform in high stress situations with precision. Trying to reintegrate into civilian life after living in a combat zone is not easy. Unfortunately, as much as friends and family try to help, it is hard for them to grasp the trauma experienced. This often leaves our veterans feeling isolated, depressed, alone, and helpless. Combine that with the nightmares, flashbacks, loss of interest in typical activities of daily and social living, paranoia and feelings of guilt and the potential for self medicating with drugs and/or alcohol rises potentially leading to addiction. Addiction often further isolates our vets from their family and sometimes threatens their ability to successfully maintain a job and provide for their loved ones. It is a complex mess that takes a toll on the soul of the individual. Enter motocross...
What we at WW recognize is that motocross is one of those unique experiences that requires the same dedication, focus and mental clarity that combat did making it a perfect sport to help refocus the mind. We are here to help do just that. Whether one is new to riding or is seasoned and wants to race, we are committed to providing a space for this. Through incredibly generous donors and partners, we have the facility, the b ikes, the gear and the people to help rehabilitate our veterans.
We are aware that the desire to help rehabilitate our veterans extends beyond Wiregrass Warriors - and we are grateful for that. For those that feel called to help with this cause, please consider donating below. All donations will go towards the operation of our WW project which we will consistently aim to improve as resources become available.

It is the heart of Wiregrass Warriors to not only serve our veterans, but to serve their families as well. We believe that the family unit is worth fighting for in combat and at home. We believe in giving veterans a fighting chance at living a successful and fulfilled life after the battle. We are in the infancy stage of something that is going to change the lives of our veterans for generations to come.
Very Respectfully,
The Wiregrass Warriors Family
